You just never know what life will throw at you! Many of our pet owners need help caring for their fur-babies whilst they combat ill health or older age, sometimes urgently! — our Pet Nannies here to provide the help you need!

Both dog and cat owners and potential pet borrowers need to sign up on Share Your Pet. Owners create a profile for their dog, providing information about the dog’s personality, needs, and preferences. Dog lovers create their profiles, detailing their experience with dogs and their availability.

Our platform uses algorithms to match dog and cat owners with suitable borrowers based on location, availability, and preferences. Take advantage of our advanced search.

Before any borrowing takes place, our owners and borrowers ‘Pet Nannies’ arrange a meet-and-greet session. This allows them to get to know each other, introduce their furry friend to the Pet Nanny, so everyone is comfortable and totally happy.

Once the meet-and-greet is successful and both parties agree to proceed, the borrower ‘Pet Nanny’ may take care of pets for agreed-upon periods. Taking the dog for walks, spending time at the borrower’s home, or any other arrangements the owner and borrower have agreed upon.

Share Your Pet provides support and guidance to both owners and borrowers. We offer insurance coverage for the borrowing period and have safety measures in place to protect the well-being of the pets and ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.

We aim to benefit everyone involved – owners get help with their pets when needed, pets get extra attention and care, and the borrowers ‘Pet Nannies’ get to spend time with pets without the full-time responsibilities of ownership. It’s great for members who cannot commit to having a dog or cat full-time but still want to enjoy the companionship and joy that dogs and cats bring into their lives.
